TV review: ‘The Killing,’ The Final Season

“The Killing”,  Well It didn’t necessarily deserve an ending after its third-season cliffhanger, but the one-time AMC series — which went from sensation to scorned in near-record time — needed one.

The six episodes that drop Friday on Netflix include a solid murder case, but focus more on the show’s deeply troubled detective team of Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) and Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman).

The Killing did a remarkable job of rising from the dead after a first-season finale that crushed most of the goodwill it had built up.
